Shelby began her career in the hospitality and events industry in 2023 when she joined Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre as a casual team member at just 16 years old. Starting with no prior hospitality experience, she quickly developed her skills and knowledge within the retail team and has since progressed into a full-time role operating the department. Shelby enjoys the fast-paced nature of the industry, particularly the problem-solving involved behind the scenes and the rewarding experience of seeing months of planning come to life on event delivery day.
Outside of work, Shelby is passionate about travel and takes every opportunity to explore new destinations. She enjoys staying active and spending time outdoors, whether at the beach, hiking, or practising yoga. Alongside her career, she is currently completing a law degree, dedicating much of her spare time to her studies while continuing to pursue new personal and professional challenges.
