Does the theatre provide accessible seating?
Yes, Riverside Theatre has dedicated wheelchair spaces with adjacent companion seating and step-free access via lifts. We recommend booking through Ticketekâs Accessible Ticketing service so we can seat your party together.
Which rows are best for limited mobility?
Seats in rows AAâDD are completely step-free and are the best option for those with limited mobility. Please note there is limited availability of these seats, so we suggest booking early.
Are hearing loops available?
Yes, our conference facilities include hearing augmentation, such as hearing loops and assisted listening coverage. Please speak with our warm usher team on arrival if you require assistance.
Is there a quiet room or sensory space?
While we do not have a permanent quiet room, event organisers frequently set up temporary sensory spaces. Please check with our friendly front-of-house staff upon arrival.
Can I bring my own food and water?
You are welcome to bring your own water into the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre. However, no outside food is permitted inside the centre. Bars and kiosks in the Riverside Theatre foyers offer a range of food and drink options.
Are there restrictions on food inside the theatre?

Where is the parentsâ room located?
The parentsâ room is on Level 1 at the eastern end of the building, conveniently located near our executive meeting spaces. It is accessible via the lift from the car park or Level 2. If the door is locked, please contact security on 9475 3301.
Is there a cloakroom for prams and bags?
Cloakroom availability is decided entirely by each individual event organiser on a showâbyâshow basis. We only provide this service if your specific organiser has requested it for their event. Please confirm with your organiser or check your ticket before arriving at the centre. Note that prams and capsules cannot be taken into theatre seating areas.
