Alzheimer’s WA 2022 Symposium will present current perspectives from world leaders, specialists and advocates on how to create thriving communities that promote the health and wellbeing of people living with dementia, carers, families and service providers throughout the life course. Ageing and dementia will be considered from a multifaced lens and will include discussions around topics such as:
- – Community-led, collaborative responses to dementia care
- – Post-diagnostic support, advanced care planning, and palliative care
- – Music therapy and assistive technologies
- – How to design dementia-enabling and inclusive places and spaces
- – Culturally appropriate engagement and practice
- – Early intervention and protective ageing through the life course.
