At Cape Mentelle we draw inspiration from the great wines of the world.
This is reflected in the techniques employed in our vineyards as we aim to produce wines that capture a unique sense of place in every bottle. These characteristics are defined by our pristine coastal location, unique soils and 50 years of viticultural history.
The Marmaduke range takes its inspiration from Marmaduke Terry, one of the first settlers of the Margaret River region where Cape Mentelle has proudly resided since 1970. As one of the founding wineries, we continue to explore our local terroir to craft wines of distinctive expression and exceptional quality.

Palate: A wonderful introduction to Margaret River Cabernet with red and dark berry fruits integrated with supple tannins.

Nose: Floral & spicy with red berry fruits and hints of cedar.
Palate: This wine is a classic expression of cool climate Shiraz, dark plum and sweet spice in harmony with fine tannins enhancing the length.
This Sparkling wine is a blend of 85% Chardonnay and 15% Pinot Noir. Eighteen months lees maturation brings a creamy texture and biscuity complexity to this zesty, lively Chardonnay dominant sparkling. Attractive aromas of white peach and cashews with subtle honeyed note to finish.
