DigniTea events consist of 11 High Tea events, held across the month of May, in celebration and recognition of World Menstrual Hygiene Day (28th May). These events usually raise over $450,000 and bring together over 5,000 people to have a fun, entertaining afternoon to make a difference for those doing it tough.
All funds raised from our DigniTea events will go towards purchasing our specially designed, world first Dignity Vending Machines that dispense free period packs to women and girls who need them. We are proud to have already installed over 280 of these machines in locations right across Australia, and we have plans for a further 1,000 by the end of 2022.
The issue of women’s health and supporting and empowering women is close to the hearts of many. If you would like to know more about Share the Dignity, please visit our website www.sharethedignity.org.au.
Together, we can ensure that women and girls living in poverty, experiencing homelessness, or fleeing domestic violence are afforded the dignity they deserve. So grab your besties and secure your tickets to the sell-out high tea of the year!
