Seamless event delivery starts here
At Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre, we know that smooth logistics are essential to delivering a successful event.
Whether you are transporting custom exhibition stands, staging, audiovisual equipment, or managing deliveries of any scale, our logistics and loading dock team are fully equipped to facilitate a seamless and efficient move in and move out for your event.
Freight & Deliveries
All event freight and deliveries must be coordinated through the PCEC loading dock. This ensures safe handling and minimal disruption across the venue.
Please ensure that a PCEC Delivery Notice is completed and affixed to all items sent to the venue via freight handler or courier. Unlabelled freight will be refused.
Dock Access & Hours
Event organisers or exhibitors personally delivering items to the venue will only be granted access to the loading dock during the official move in and move out period of their event.
Access for deliveries or storage of items outside of these times can be arranged with PCEC Logistics at a cost, subject to availability.
Vehicle Access & Site Rules
Access to the PCEC Loading is via a ramp adjacent to the intersection of Mounts Bay Road and Spring Street.
The loading dock is one way only, vehicles must not exceed a speed of 10kmh, and hazard lights must be active at all times whilst engines are running.
Marked thoroughfares must be kept clear at all times for emergency access.
No parking is permitted on the loading dock, vehicles may only stand temporarily on the loading dock for loading / unloading purposes and are not to be left unattended at all times.
The maximum vehicle size permitted without venue approval required is an individual 45 foot semi trailer or a standard B-double.
Oversize vehicles may be permitted, please check with your Event Manager.

PCEC Logistics retains the right to exclusively provide logistics and freight handling services to Organisers and Exhibitors through the Administration Loading Dock, servicing all Level 2 and Level 3 function spaces.
Organisers and Exhibitors are responsible for accepting and handling their own freight in the Pavilions and Riverside Theatre, unless PCEC Logistics has been engaged prior.
Forklifting, porterage, and storage services can be arranged with PCEC Logistics at competitive rates.
Pallet jacks, flatbed/upright trolleys, dollies for oversize custom stand materials and forklift extensions are available for hire from the venue.
Bespoke services like refrigerated storage, container, or marquee hire can be arranged by PCEC Logistics, given adequate notice.
Move In & Move Out
It is the responsibility of the Event Organiser to provide an accurate and detailed schedule of move in and move out activities for their event, including a list of incoming freight, and a detailed schedule of access times for all contractors and suppliers accessing the venue.
Storage & Handling
PCEC does not provide long-term storage facilities. All freight must arrive during your allocated move in and be removed by the end of move out. For advanced storage or specialist handling, organisers and exhibitors must engage a freight forwarder. Your Event Manager can provide recommendations on local contractors experienced in working at PCEC.
