FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre (PCEC) has championed the return of rising confidence and optimism for hosting in-person business events and exhibitions in Western Australia with over 80 events scheduled for March 2021 at the PCEC.
Exactly 12 months ago PCEC was forced to close as the onset of COVID-19 reached Australia. After one year of developing and implementing COVID-safe venue procedures aligned to current health department directives, the business is pleased to announce it will be hosting over 45,000 guests for face-to-face events and exhibitions this month.
Some of the events that have already wrapped up this month include:
Australasian Oil & Gas (AOG) Energy
10-11 March 2021
PCEC once again accommodated AOG Energy in 2021 – this time celebrating 40 years! AOG 2021 incorporated a trade exhibition connecting the entire oil and gas supply chain together with forums across the two-day event, and once again proved that face-to-face exhibitions are the cornerstone of strong industry relationships.
Underground Operators Conference
15 – 17 March 2021
AusIMM delivered the Underground Operators Conference in Perth in a hybrid format that allowed delegates from around the world to connect. Bringing together mining engineers, mine operators, technical service managers and consultants, the conference and impressive trade exhibition was perfectly located in WA as Australian mining’s market-leader.
PCEC also looks forward to hosting two events this month with Exhibitions and Events Australia (EEA) – Australia’s largest organiser of consumer exhibitions:
The Perth Home Show
26 – 28 March 2021
The Perth Home Show is set to run over three days at PCEC. The exhibition will be packed full of innovative home products, free seminars and expert advice on all things home improvement.
The EveryWoman Expo
26 – 28 March 2021
The EveryWoman Expo annually attracts over 14,000 women and features 150+ exhibitors showcasing a diverse range of health, beauty, fashion, food, lifestyle, fitness and spiritual solutions.
In addition to these exhibitions and amongst other conference events, the Riverside Theatre will be back in business with two exciting shows in March – a visit from comedian Russell Howard on the 19th and WASO’s Harry Potter & the Order of the Phoenix performances on the 26th and 27th.
PCEC is thrilled to be back in action and pleased to be able to support the local and national events and tourism industry after a challenging 12 months.
