glass foyer, across all three levels, features expansive pre-function and foyer
areas providing city and Swan River views.
Stunning design...
Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre was designed by a team of Western
Australia’s leading architects, engineers and builders, including The Cox Group,
Arup and Multiplex respectively. The venue’s design capitalises on its unique
riverside location, while providing a critical business link direct to Perth’s
city centre for delegates and visitors.
As well as capturing the flow of Perth’s stunning Swan River, the design
incorporates colours unique to Western Australia, including rich ochres of the
natural environment. Internally, the impressive floor-to-ceiling glass foyer
creates a seamless link between all of the venue’s major rooms and
facilities.
The spirit of the West ...
The official logo of the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre reflects the
positive, dynamic and free spirit of Western Australia. The vibrant colour
palette captures the diversity of the state's environment and climate. The shape
is based on the unique location of the PCEC, which is nestled between the
majestic Swan River and the Central Business District. The blue strip in the
logo represents the river and foreshore, with a backdrop of highrise buildings.
The logo is reminiscent of Western Australia's native flora icon, the kangaroo
paw.
