Communication is everything ...

Truly Advanced

Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre (PCEC) houses some of the most advanced technical facilities and communications infrastructure in Australia featuring ISDN lines, fibre optic cabling, advanced projection, audio and lighting systems plus a permanently installed wireless service.

The stunning Riverside Theatre supports amplified sound for staging productions, concerts and major speaker presentations, while the BelleVue Ballroom, meeting rooms and exhibition pavilions have each been acoustically designed for a range of uses and multiple services, with particular focus on functionality and flexibility.

Riverside Theatre

The RIverside Theatre is accessible from the main foyer through two sets of double door entrances.

Retractable writing tablets (A3 size) are fitted to 1,000 seats in the forward section of the venue.

A VIP room, greenroom, dressing rooms, wardrobe/laundry facilities, organiser’s office suite and cloakroom are all available.

Special features...

A unique feature is a distinctive removable wall positioned between the Riverside Theatre and the adjacent exhibition pavilion 1.  Event organisers wanting to stage a dramatic ‘reveal’ are able to take advantage of this special capability.  The operable wall also allows for larger stage show productions, as well as the possibility of combining a plenary session with an exhibition, meeting or event.

A hearing augmentation induction loop system is provided to the Riverside Theatre.

The standard stage dimensions are approx 24 metres wide by 8.6 metres deep. The stage can be extended into the Riverside Theatre by 4 metres.

The Riverside Theatre supports amplified sound for staging productions, concerts and major speaker presentations.  It is capable of broadcasting speakers from elsewhere in the world, and allowing the speakers to take questions from the floor in real time.  Latest technology lighting effects are also available within the Riverside Theatre, to enhance the quality and impact of an event’s production.  Three projector screens are available in the Riverside Theatre, one in the centre (6 metres x 4 metres) and two side screens (4 metres x 3 metres).  There are three Panasonic DLP Projectors (6000 Lumins)

Level 2 Meeting Rooms

All Level 2 meeting rooms are accessible from the main foyer of the PCEC.

A registration desk (19 metres in length) is located in the main foyer and provides facilities and a focal point for event and meeting management.  A lockable office is available behind the main registration desk.

Public announcement systems are available and can be individually programmed for voice announcements, alert signals or background music.  A digital display screen connected to the centre’s SCALA communication systems is located at the entry door to each meeting room.  Each screen can be individually scripted according to the needs of the meeting or event.

Filled with natural light by floor to ceiling windows, the expansive foyers of 100 metres by 20 metres connect all meeting rooms and are ideal areas for managing high levels of traffic and possible additional display areas.

For specific information regarding each meeting room's technical capabilities contact the sales team on info@pcec.com.au or 08 9338 0300.
