PCEC’s presence heads to the East Coast

August 17, 2011

PCEC Sales Manager, Sally BlackPerth Convention and Exhibition Centre (PCEC) will enhance its competitive presence announcing its appointment of a representative in Melbourne.

Sally Black, PCEC’s long time standing Sales Manager for Exhibitions and Special Events will be heading to Melbourne this month to represent PCEC on the east coast of Australia.

Chief Executive Officer, Dean Lee stated the move is an important strategic step in strengthening the venue’s presence in primary source markets outside Western Australia.

“With so many of our major clients based on the east coast, basing a permanent representative in Melbourne will dramatically improve relationships and communications,” said Mr Lee.

Sally will continue to work very closely with the team at PCEC and be in regular contact. Sally’s focus will still be exhibitions, concerts and special events but will now be able to provide face-to-face support for the association and corporate markets based in Melbourne and on the east coast.

Nothing will change as far as her relationships with clients based in WA, and Sally will travel to Perth on a regular basis.

“Perth is on the radar as a prime national and international business events destination and coming events to the centre like the 2011 Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting will only reinforce what Western Australia and PCEC is capable of and what can be accomplished,” Mr Lee stated.
