PCEC's award winning success continues
June 21, 2011
Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre (PCEC) have once again taken the top award, winning the ‘Function/Convention Centre Caterer’ title at last night’s 2011 Western Australian Restaurant and Catering Awards for Excellence.
Winning this award for the sixth consecutive year, this award represents the benchmark for excellence in Western Australia’s functions and convention market. The title is a testament to PCEC’s continuous high quality approach to catering.
PCEC Chief Executive Officer, Dean Lee congratulated the entire team on this great achievement.
“This award is a tribute to the fact that our entire culinary team can deliver outstanding results, whether it’s a gala dinner for 1000 or an intimate cocktail party for 50,” said Mr Lee.
“Every event is treated with the same level of attention to detail, and the same level of importance to ensure our guests are talking about their experience long after their event. It is a fantastic acknowledgment for all the staff involved that for the sixth year running, their efforts have been recognised as the best in WA,” he added.
These awards recognise the highest achievers in the restaurant and catering industry. PCEC will now automatically enter the national awards for this category and winners will be announced on Monday, 24th October 2011.
